From my earliest ventures north, I fell in love with a bull called Flying K Max 159Y. Since semen wasn’t available on daddy, the only option was to buy a son, so Hank the Tank became target #3 in 2015. The combination of the shape, structure, muscle, feet and udders I knew were stacked in his sire crossed with a dam who topped the Chickadee dispersal made this little meat wagon irresistible to me. If you like frame 4.5 to 5.2 cattle that are wide, deep and packed with muscle and maternal, check his sons out.

 254B was the second target in the 2015 SSS sale. From my first trip north to go through the SSS program, the #1 cow for me was 612P. Now in the age of political correctness, not many breeders are brave enough to tightly line breed anything. Already knowing what his sire, 639X could do, and having him stacked on his half sister 342S , I was pretty confident what the females out of this guy were going to be. The first crop of 254 daughters is already making a solid impression. They’re soft, deep made, bold sprung, beautiful uddered females.

 The next great piece in the legacy of the 612P cow from Triple SSS. Tactic is an intensely line bred bull to the very heart of the SSS program. His offering here is small this year...but there will be many more to choose from in the future. Owned with Rains Cattle Co. Perkins, OK

Endorse was the $40,000 top selling bull in Triple S Sale in Canada.  Being Canada bred , his American EPD tabulations is not as true as his actual performance.  He consistently sires eye appealing cattle that come on a moderate frame size.  His yearling ultrasound scanned and 18.7 square inch rib eye.  Now deceased there will be limited opportunities to access these unique genetic

Amped was a sleeper in the 2016 SSS sale. One of the youngest bulls in the offering that year, he didn’t draw the attention of as many people as his progeny will. The Ambush daughters are tremendous young cows at SSS, and his donor dam 306W is one of the best cows in the history of that famed program. This is his first offering and there will be many more hitting the ground this spring.

We purchased Forster Gold Ruch A031 the top sale  lot 9,  a May 3, 2013, son of RHRA Gold Rush 402 17T with epds of BW -0.8 WW 55 YW 82 Milk 28. This bull weaned off at 692 pound to ratio 111 with a yearling ratio of 103 and 111 IMF, a high performance calving ease, carcass bull all tied into one attractive package.    Goldrush was initially purchased as a heifer bull in Forsters 2014 sale. His first calf crop on Paydirt daughters is quite impressive, and I’m anxiously awaiting what this guy gets done on mature cows this spring.
